The OSHA Outreach 10-hour General Industry Training Program covers an overview of the hazards a worker my encounter on a job site. Training emphasizes hazard identification, avoidance, control and prevention, not OSHA standards.
Courses are conducted through formal instruction and handouts providing opportunity for student interaction.
Participants will gain basic knowledge on the following subjects:
- Introduction to OSHA
- Walking Working Surfaces
- Exit Routes, EAP, & Fire Protection
- Electrical
- Personal Protective Equipment
- Hazard Communication
- Plus additional topics
The OSHA Outreach 10-hour General Industry Training Program will be taught over two days per OSHA Outreach Training Program guidelines.
