Aerial Lift Operator Safety Awareness

Our Aerial Lift Operator Safety Awareness program covers OSHA regulations, ANSI standards and guidelines concerning aerial lift safety in a concise and time-saving manner.

According to OSHA regulation 1926.453 (B) (2) (ii) “only authorized persons shall operate an aerial lift”.

Our course consists of required training in general instruction regarding the inspections, application and operation of aerial platforms, plus the recognition and avoidance of hazards associated with their operation. While Aerial Lift Operator Safety Awareness covers boom lifts and scissor lifts we tailor the training program to emphasize the type of lifts that your company operates.

The class is approximately three hours followed by familiarization training and evaluation on your aerial lifts.

General and familiarization training must be given to all new operators, when any new equipment is introduced, when deficiencies are observed, or if an operator is involved in a near miss. OSHA does not require recurrent training however we suggest employees retrain every three years.

Following the training we provide all training records including test scores and evaluation notes, certificates, and wallet cards as PDF copies. Color, printed copies of the full class and individual certificates and laminated wallet cards will be mailed.
